Introduction of Textured Vegetable Protein:



Novel protein products are a new range of finished products made with fibrous proteins.

These products have been developed by Clextral in partnership with food processors and

food research centers.The demand for this  range of products is growing  as consumers

seek healthy and tasty alternatives to meat.Novel  protein products are either used as

ingredients for vegeterian or vegan dishes(meat substitutes or meat analogs)or prepared

for ready-to-eat prepared meals. Extruded fibrous proteins which are the base for these

“Novel protein products”are vegetable proteins that are cholesterol-free, low in fat,

high in protein and fiber content, and  rich in nutrients. They are directly extracted

from plants such as soya, cereals, or legumes (peas and beans) or other plants.They can

also integrate fish or meat-based raw materials, for human or animal consumption.




The process of producing Textured Vegetable Protein Making Machine:
1.Raw material mixer: to mix varous raw material evenly.


2.Screw conveyor : to convey raw material to extrude.


3.Twin/Double screw extruder:

to extruder and cook the raw material into different shapes protein.


4.Water cooling tower: to supply cooling water in the processing process.


5.Water injector: to inject water on the producing process.


6.Vibrating cooler: to spread the products and cool it quickly.


7.Air conveyor: to convey the food to the next machine.


8.Belt drying oven: to dry snacks food by circulating belt.
